Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
ParentVox is a daily WhatsApp check-in service for elderly parents, arranged by their family. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
- From the family member who signs up: name, relation, WhatsApp number, country and time zone.
- About the parent: name, preferred name, WhatsApp number, language, address (used only in emergencies), health conditions, medicines and nearest hospital.
- Emergency contacts: name, phone number and whether they live nearby.
- Messages: WhatsApp messages and voice notes exchanged with ParentVox, and their text transcripts.
Why we use it
- To send the parent daily check-ins and medicine reminders in their language.
- To send the family a daily summary and alert them and emergency contacts if something seems wrong.
- To remember earlier conversations so check-ins are personal.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for advertising.
Consent
The parent is asked for permission before receiving daily messages and can reply STOP at any time. Emergency contacts are asked to accept before they are contacted.
Service providers
We use Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) to send and receive messages and Google (Gemini) to understand replies and create voice messages. They process data only to provide these services.
Storage and security
Data is stored in a secured database with access limited to authorised ParentVox staff. We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service, and delete it on request.
Not a medical or emergency service
ParentVox does not give medical advice. In any emergency, always call 112.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or stop the service, at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or contacting us. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
